Jarod & Stephanie
We are Jarod and Stephanie Matthews. Jarod grew up in Olympia, WA on a 90-acre cattle farm. Farm life and husbandry is a passion he grew up around and is a way of life for him. I am from Miami, FL where I lived until we moved at a young age to the Charleston area. I grew up in a family of business owners who worked hard to chase their passions alongside their family members through strong work ethic and integrity.
We met in 2002 When Jarod was playing minor league ball for the Charleston River Dogs. He visited my church on his day off and the rest is history. Along came our 4 Kids, Noah, Thomas, Silas, and Lucy who fall so deeply in love with each puppy and also double as our work crew. This is truly a family affair.
Living in Miami as a young girl I was asked often, what do you want to do when you grow up, and I always responded, “I want a tomato patch and 4 kids.” Everyone laughed but today we live on our mini hobby farm of 12 acres. When you come by to meet us, our dogs, or your puppy you may also be greeted by our goats, sheep, or chickens, and you may get to go home with a dozen fresh farm eggs. My husband's family in Washington state have an established breeding program and breed Golden retrievers and Goldendoodles. We absolutely fell in love with the breed and especially with the temperament. We brought home Dolly straight from our family farm in WA and found Dash after months of searching in Gaffney, SC. The pair have blessed so many homes with their healthy beautiful puppies who have brought so much joy and love to so many. Later Daisy also came straight from our family farm in Washington.
We Thank God daily for the opportunity to bless so many homes with amazing family pets who have brought so much joy and love.
